My shopping experience with Tokenz.com

The monsoon season is around the corner and, with it, it will bring a season of various festivals like Haryali teez, Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami etc. So, keeping that in mind I decided to do some shopping. And, where did I ended up shopping from? Well, I tried a new website called Tokenz.com.

Tokenz is a cool website in my opinion. Of course, it’s not a shop-all-destination like Amazon or Flipkart but it hoards a variety of products which are bound to grab your attention. The website specializes in hand-made products like idols and figurines, terracotta pots, Tampatra and Pattachitra paintings from Orissa, Chinkari from Lucknow, blue pottery and block prints from Rajasthan, Dokra work from Madhya Pradesh. They also have several Khadi, the well-known brand, products. They also have food items like chocolates, dry fruits, sweets, cookies, and edible oils. The list of products is only growing. All in all, it’s an excellent website to shop for hand-crafted products and gifts of various occasions.

India is known for its handworks and engravings. It has the finest artisans in entire globe and this website has collected items from such brilliant craftsmen.

Website and delivery

The website has a clean user-interface which is easy to browse. Different products are categorised in an efficient manner, such that you can easily find what you’re looking for.

The delivery is superfast. I ordered in the night, and received it on the second morning. The support is great as well. In fact, I had a little trouble with the order and the support resolved it asap. I only had to send them an email and they called back within a couple of hours and resolved the issue without much queries from their side.

Bangle box review

I was quite excited to receive this awesome bangle box. I mean it looks so wow! Though, it’s called a bangle box but you can use it for several purposes. It’s a gorgeous box in red silk fabric completed with golden Zari work. The quality is very fine. It has floral and bail motives on it with pearl work. The golden Zari gives this box a very rich look, the red color compliments the golden Zari. To open this box there is a golden tassel given. The size of the box was exactly as mentioned in the website. The pricing for the product is reasonable. This looks so classy that you can even use it to gift to your loved ones.

Long Handle Kapoor Aarti Brass Diya

The festivities are never complete without prayers and rituals. Second product I ordered was this brass diya which can be used to burn Kapoor (camphor). This diya has a bowl for the camphor. It has a long handle carved beautifully floral pattern. And it’s safe to use as the handle is long enough to keep your hands away from burning. The product quality is good and budget friendly as well.

Bhaiya and Bhabhi Rakhi set

Third product I purchased was this rakhi set for my Bhai and Bhabhi. Being a girl I know how important it is to purchase a perfect rakhi for your Bhai and Bhabhi. Well, I must tell you guys, you will get a very lovely range of rakhis here at Tokenz. I bought this green bangle rakhi in Resham and Gota work. There’s this pretty latkan (hanging) on the bangle, Gota flower with beautiful pearls and golden ghungroos with green embellishments. Above the green embellishments there is kundan work over it.

Bhai rakhi is also very pretty and has these beautiful pearls in red, orange, green and golden. At the centre is a lord Ganeshas print surrounded with red stones. Pearls continue with the mauli thread in colors of red, orange and golden zari thread. These rakhis complement each other. It’s a must buy for every sister for their bhai and Bhabhi this Rakshabandhan. The price is pretty decent too.  This rakhi set comes with roli and chawal. Happy shopping.
